The Montagues and the Capulets hated each other.
One day Tybalt, a Capulet, started a fight with Benvolio, a Montague, in the streets.
Then the Prince of verona arrived. He was very angry.
He want peace in his city. And he speak with Lord Capulet and in the afternoon with Lord Montague.
The Lord Capulet decided to have a party.
Romeo went to the party with Benvolio and his friend, Mercutio.
Lord Capulet welcomed them. He did not recognize the son of this enemy, Lord Montague.

As they went into the house, Romeo say Juliet for the first time. He fell in love!
Tybalt recognised Romeo's voice.
Romeo went to Juliet and talked to her. He did not know who she was. He took her hand gently in his.
Romeo kissed Juliet. He kissed her a second time. Then the Nurse came to take Juliet to her mother. He was in love with the daughter of the eney of his family. After they left the party, Mercutio and Benvolio looked for Romeo.
Mercutio and Benviolio went home. The night was silent.

Romeo went to see Friar Laurence, his friend and teacher. Benvolio and Mercutio were looking for Romeo in the streets of Verona.
Romeo went secetlu to Friar Laurence's cell.
At last Juliet arrived. She was very nervous. So was Romeo. They were very young but very much in love. Friar Laurence was like a father to them. Ge took them into his cell and they were married.
Meanwhile, Benvolio and Mercutio were walking in the streets of Verona.
Tybalt approached Mercutio.
At the moment, Romeo come back from his secret wedding.
ROmeo came bettween Mercutio and Tybalt as they began to fight.
But Mercutio fell to the ground and died. It was Romeo's fault. His frien was dead.
