Unit 8- Review of a book or film

I'd like to recommend a film which I watched, called Avatar.
The director of the film is James Cameron and the writer is James Cameron (the same person).
The film is set in the year 2154, when humans are mining a precious mineral of on Pandora. And with the expansion of the mining colony it threatens the existence of a local  indigenous tribe called Na'vi.
This blue-skinned Avatars, live in nature and their worship a mother goddess called Eywa.
To explore Pandora's biosphere, scientists use Na'vi (who are humans hybrids called Avatars).
One of the main characters is Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic former marine.
While Jake is protecting the Avatars, Jake's avatar is attacked by a ''tharator'' and he goes into the forest, where he is rescued by Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), a female Na'vi.

Over three months, Jake's grows up with the Avatars and he has a girlfriend, who is Neytiri.
If you want know the ending, you will have to watch the film.
In my opinion of the film is very interesting.

Unit 7 - Formal letter

Unit 5 - Whitney Houston.

Whitney Elisabeth Houston was born on 9th August in 1963 in Los Angeles and she died on 11 February in 2012 in Beverly Hills. She was an american songwriter, actress, producer and model.
In 2009, the Guiness World Records cited her as the most-award famale act of all time.
She has two Emmy awards, six Grammy award, 30 billboard music award and 22 American music awards among a total of 415 career awards in her lifetime.
She could sell 170 milion album.
Today we still remember our Whitney.

Because the Internet is a good entertainment but also a bit addictive.

Also a good place to find information

But I think sometimes it is a problem, a little problem , but it is.

In the Internet can find all things; false things true things. Also can find things are very interesting, things aren't interesting, games, musics, films, photos, chats for chatting with the people around the world ...

In short, a world you can find most things.

Unit 2 -The TV highlights

The highlight of this week's TV was definitely the TV series 'El barco'.
In the last chapter, the tripolants of the boat fell in a cascade because there was a separation of the seas... , this chapter was very exciting.
On Wednesday on channel 6 there was a reality show called ''Tu cara me suena''.
There were famous people and they have to imitate other famous people. There is a jury to qualify them.

Clara Llavari and I are friends. Clara lives in front of my house, here in Banyoles.
We go to the same school, from ''llar 2''.
Clara is fourteen years old. She's very funny, and has long and brown hair. The good thing about her is that she's very funny and very friendly.

Clara is happiest when she's with friends and we are explain funny...
She likes swimming.

The summer holidays

Hi I'm Cristina, and I'm going to explain, my summer in Girona, Llançà and St Antoni de Calonge.
In the first half of July I stayed in Girona. In Girona I did my summer homework, in this plart of July we couldn't go to the beach because on 12 of July my little brother was born ahd couldn't go anywhere.
In the other part of July and the first half of August I stayed in St Antoni de Calonge, we went to the beach, I finished my summer homeworks... .
And on the second part of August I stayed in Llançà with my father's family.
On 18th August it was the birthday ot my sister Paula and all the family gave her a day to go rafting with all the cousins, and the last weekend we went do rafting in Sort and it was a unique and very funny experience and I recommend that everyone go to one day do rafting.
This summer has been unforgettable!!

Cris: OK, but hurry up! I don't know hoe long I can stay here it's cold!
Paula: OK, OK, I'm sure that someone will come soon.
Cris: Paula!!

Cris: The boat is sinking! Help!!!!

Unit 5 - Write a Biogrhaphy

Jesús Calleja is a Spanish alpinist and presenter of ''Desafío Extremo''.
He was born in León (Spain) in 1965. She grew up there and lived there all of her life.
Jesús Calleja when he was 21 he visited the Himalaya mountains.
In 2005 he climbed Everest and at this moment he thought of making a program about his expeditions.

The program will look at different will look at different expeditions of this man, and the spectators the process are going to climb a mountain to.
It is a program that is fine . It expleins things of the mountains... and the presenter is very funny.

An Emotion Rescue

The rescue happened while we were on holiday in California last July. It was really amazing.
I was with my sister and my cousins. We were surfing in the beach when we saw two sharks coming to the beach.
There were two lifeguards who called because sharks were coming the beach.
Over a hundred surfers went out of fast water, but stayed in the water and a helicopter came to remove them.
Thanks to the helicopter they were saved.
The lifeguards put posters of "No Trespassing"on the beach because it was dangerous to swim with the sharks.

A very happy day

A very happy day
I remember my aunt's birthday one month ago.
It was a very funny day.

First, at six o'clock we went to her house.
We had dinner there and then the birthday party started about 11 p.m.
and everybody danced.
Finally,at about 2 we went home.

There were a hundred people at the birthday party.
I remember the cousin of my aunt, who was running with heels and she hell.
It was a really fun day!!

Here we are in my ideal home.
It's a house near the centre of town.
It's big, i'ts got four bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a dinning room.The house has got a garage and a nice garden.

On an ideal afternoon in my ideal home we're all here.
My mum and cat are playing outside. They're playing together. My sister is in the dining room.
She's watching TV. I'm in the dining room. I am doing a writing for my English Class.

My favourite rooms are the living room and studio. Because in the living room there is a TV and a sofa... . And in the studio there are tables and one computer.

TARANTULA

-Tarantulas are large arachnids. They usually live in the tropical.
Females can live 20-30 years and males 10-12 years, depending on the spacies.

-Their habitat is varied. You can buy these in a pet shop.
-Tarantulas are very rare and interesting, but they are not ideal pets.
They are very small, so they don't need space. If you buy a tarantula, you must remember this!

A book film or review

I read a book called New moon.
It was an adventure story about two boys and 1 girls,they're called Edward, Jacob and Bella.

In the story Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob but she chooses to leave together with Edward.

I like this book because it was exiting and the characters were interesting.

My friend's name is Clara. She's twelve years old and she lives near me, in Banyoles.

Clara is a good friend. I like her, because she's very funny.

I sometimes go to Clara's house. We often watch photos and videos together.

A day in my life:

I get up at quorter to seven, I have breakfast.
At quorter to eight I go to school by car.
The school starts at 9 o'clock and finish at 5 o'clock.
When arrive at home I do my homework.
At half past 10 I have dinner with my family.
After that I watch T.V. or I play with my cat.
About half past 11 I go to bed.
